Life’s journey is precious
I see everyone’s life journey as of great importance; it is unique and precious. Everyone deserves respect for their story and the chance to look for help. People deserve to be seen, heard, and respected, and my goal is to help them feel supported.
As an MFT/PCC trainee, I seek to provide support to each person who entrusts me with being there for them. There are many different ways people view the process of therapy, but I believe in helping others build the investment they have in themselves. I see every person as having what it takes to strengthen themselves and find a path with support to get through their trials.
About Me
My name is Laurie Franklin. I am an MFT/PCC trainee in the Counseling Psychology Master’s Program at California Baptist University. I felt a calling to reach out and be there for those who feel they need support.
I have experienced many struggles in life and survived them, and I feel deep gratitude for life itself. I am open to assisting any individual who needs support. I understand that each of us is unique, that no one knows our story better than we do, and that my approach is to meet you where you are and walk with you through your struggles and worries. I believe I can say for anyone, “You matter.”
Who Is Laurie?
I am a curious and research-driven individual. I love to learn new things, and I love learning about people, history, and everything I can. I am a mother of three children and a past animal rescuer. When my family has the energy, my ideal day of fun is spending the day at Balboa Park, and taking my son to his favorite place, the Natural History Museum and Zoo.
Judgement has no place here.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
